Builder basics
A tour of what your customers do in the gang sheet builder — upload artwork, arrange it on the sheet, see the live price, and add it to the cart.
Once the builder is enabled on a product, your customers design their gang sheet right on the product page. This page walks through that experience so you know what shoppers see — and so you can share it with customers who are new to gang sheets.
Upload artwork
The builder opens on the product page with the sheet ready to fill. Customers add their designs by uploading image files from their device. Each upload appears as a piece they can place, resize, and duplicate on the sheet.
Place and arrange
Customers position each piece on the sheet, set how many copies they want, and scale pieces to the size they need. The builder keeps the spacing between pieces consistent using the padding you configured for the product.
To make the most of the material, the builder can auto-nest the pieces — packing them tightly onto the roll width so there’s as little wasted space as possible. This keeps the sheet length (and the customer’s cost) down.
Watch the live price
As the sheet fills, the price updates live. The cost is driven by how much of the roll the design uses, so customers see immediately how adding, removing, or rescaling pieces changes the total. There are no surprises at checkout — the number they see while designing is the number they pay.
Add to cart and check out
When the layout looks right, the customer clicks Add to cart. Their finished design is attached to the order line, and from there checkout is the standard WooCommerce flow you already run — cart, checkout, payment.
Nothing extra is required from the customer to hand you a print-ready file. After the order is placed, the print file is produced automatically.
