Connect a product

The builder doesn’t appear on every product automatically — you decide which products use it. You enable it per product from the normal WooCommerce product editor, so a single store can sell gang sheets alongside ordinary products.

1. Open the product

In your WordPress admin, go to Products and open the product you want to sell as a gang sheet (or create a new one with Add New).

2. Enable the builder

In the Product data panel, you’ll find a new Gang Sheet Builder tab alongside the standard tabs (General, Inventory, and so on).

1. Click the Gang Sheet Builder tab.
2. Tick Gang sheet builder to enable the embedded builder on this product.
3. Click Update (or Publish) to save the product.

That’s the minimum. With the box ticked and the product saved, the builder will embed on that product’s page for your customers.

3. Set the sheet options (optional)

The same Gang Sheet Builder tab has a few options that control the sheet your customers design. Leave any field blank to fall back to the plugin-wide defaults set under WooCommerce → Make Gang Sheet → Builder Defaults.

Field	What it controls
Roll widths override (mm)	The roll widths a customer can choose, as a comma-separated list — for example 550, 1000.
Default roll width override (mm)	Which roll width is selected when the builder first opens.
Padding override (mm)	The spacing kept between placed pieces of artwork.
Max length override (mm)	The longest a sheet is allowed to grow.

All measurements are in millimeters. A value is only used if it’s a whole number of at least 1; blank, zero, or negative values are treated as “not set” and fall back to your defaults.

Check it on the storefront

Open the product page as a shopper (an incognito window is an easy way). The builder should load in place on the product page, ready for a customer to upload artwork. If the builder isn’t there, see Troubleshooting → the builder button is missing.
