Install and activate the plugin
Upload the MakeGangSheet plugin to your WooCommerce store and activate it with the license key we emailed you.
Getting MakeGangSheet running takes two things you already have after subscribing: the plugin ZIP you received and the license key we emailed to you. This page walks through installing the first and activating the second.
1. Install the plugin
MakeGangSheet is a standard WooCommerce plugin, so it installs the same way as any other:
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Choose the plugin ZIP file you received, then click Install Now.
- When the upload finishes, click Activate Plugin.
That’s it — the plugin is now installed. Nothing about your customers’ artwork or the print files is processed on your WordPress server; the plugin is a thin bridge to the MakeGangSheet platform.
2. Activate your license
Activation connects this site to your subscription and claims one of your activation seats.
- In the WordPress admin sidebar, open WooCommerce → Make Gang Sheet.
- Under Connection, paste your license key into the License Key field.
- Click Save Settings.
The plugin activates the key against the MakeGangSheet platform as soon as you save. When it succeeds, the License Status panel at the top of the page updates to show:
- State: Active
- Edition: your plan’s edition (WooCommerce)
- Seats: how many activations are in use, for example

The API Base URL field
The Connection section also has an API Base URL field that tells the plugin where to reach the MakeGangSheet platform. In most installs this is already set correctly — leave it as-is. If the field is empty, or activation reports that it cannot reach the platform, contact support@makegangsheet.com for the correct address before trying again.
What happens next
Once the license shows Active, the plugin is ready. The next step is to turn the builder on for a product so your customers can start designing gang sheets.
